Well it's not what it used to be...

.... Click map to see the unbridled truth. If you must know, this week is supposed to be, on the average, the coldest week of the winter. This does not mean cold weather is over. Just understand, the weather is just not the way it was back in the olden days. The warm weather is not a problem in my opinion but it is very strange to say the least. I almost feel like I could sneak out to camp. Put up a nice wind block, build a nice fire, run a little heat in the camper.
.... I must say, this January 19th shindig we have planned for a game night is just exciting to see it come together. We....well I am at the edge of the seat looking forward to it. CSI-Menomonie...
.... Momentary interruption...I just saw Office Depots response commercial to Staples' "easy button". It is centered around a small cardboard box with a fake hand that pops out. The slogan says something like, "When you need a helping hand". Very, very sad. Almost a bit morbid.
New bands to check out:
.... Here are a few bands I have discovered recently for the radio.
AGENTS OF FUTURE - a group consisting of about 15 people who vary in age from 20 to 50. intriguing sound!
FAMILY FORCE 5 - a hillbilly rap rock party. Look them up on MySpace and watch video of "Kountry Gentleman"
SEVENTH SEAL - a tight, chunky metal band with a cool sound.
AEROFLOP - "pot smoking" music for Christians
.... More to come, but that's all for today. Each band has a MySpace. Check them out!

Before I even read the description of "Aeroflop", their name had me interested! What a hilarious name! By "pot-smoking" do you mean "jam band"? (please say yes, please say yes....!!!)

>>>Miss Lizard, Aeroflop is one of my most recent favorite bands. Yer hubby has a copy of all their stuff in MP3 as I gave him a copy a couple of weeks ago. Their maybe not "jam band" so much as "floyd-like" in some of their mello melodies. Their from Finland and they are great "chill" music.
>>>Carrie, indeed! However, I do like snow for christmas, after the holy-days, it can all go away and become warm again, ya dig, sistah? Solid. I must say, it's nice to be a bloggin' again. Aymeah?

Rhomas, I'm excited to check out the new bands. I have to be careful, it could become hours of madness if I let it. We're spoiled with our end times weather huh? From dairyland to desert..

Hermit-queen,
Take a listen to the bands and let me know what you think....

On a weather note... cold now or not, the current weather is still quite strange-o. It ain't like she used to be many long years ago.

Rhom, I checked out all the bands and GOT LOST IN CHECKING OUT OTHER BANDS THEY HAD LINKED!!!!! I'm a myspace crack baby. Anyways, Family Force 5, Aeroflop, and Seventh Seal were pretty cool. Agents of Future we're just strange and neat. I liked the review that went like "effective in breakin' through the crusty, dry exterior of scenester kids with the joy and brokenness of the Holy Spirit". And they were influenced by my all time favorite Pixies, and they collaborated with Soul Junk, and... Did you notice this TomFest thing they were a part of? Anyways, cool stuff.
